Paul Nevill
Paul Nevill has over 25 years of business intelligence and data warehousing experience as well as ten years teaching in higher education. He has designed three data warehouses from the ground up, managed multiple projects following software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT governance. He has worked directly with senior executives and mentored and trained small and large teams.
Experience
As a consultant, Paul has worked with clients such as ACG, Amazon, IBM Research, JP Morgan Chase, Unilever/Lipton and others. He has helped design dashboards, lead technology installations, design data architecture, assess data operations, migrate reporting systems, assist business users in creating reports, training them on existing reporting, and much more.
Paul also spent a decade as a director, lecturer, and adjunct professor at a private university on the upper east coast. There he helped transition the school from a computer science program to an information technology program and added courses such as Database and Design Coding, Data Integration, Data Modeling and Analytics, and others. He also taught classes such as Management Information Systems and Cyber Law and Computer Ethics.
Background
Paul has also worked as a senior database specialist at Inserra Supermarkets and a senior business intelligence consultant at Amazon.
In 2019, Paul received the Innovation & Delivery Excellence Award (IDEA) Best Use of Cognitive Enterprise IBM Global Business Services North America
