Dan Mallory

Dan Mallory is an experienced chief information officer (CIO) who has led major IT organizations in planning, management, and execution of technology strategy and digital transformation across automation, data activation, and application development. He specializes in fractional CIO services, automation, data analytics, and mergers and acquisitions (M&A) strategy.

Experience

Dan comes to FPOV having served two decades at Aprio, an accounting and business advisory firm that is among the fastest growing firms in the United States.

At Aprio, where he was the chief information officer and chief digital officer (CDO), Dan helmed the organization’s information technology providing agile methodology, data integration, vendor management, IT strategy, strategic planning, automation, and much more.

He was responsible for integrating technology during Aprio’s mergers and acquisitions. He helped guide the company though seventeen mergers and 500% revenue growth.

Background

Dan started his career as a software engineer at Aprio in 2002. He worked his way up to IT operations manager where he was responsible for a ten-person team providing IT consulting, workflow consulting, project management, and end user training. He spent eight years as a manager of information assurance services performing risk assessments and privacy management.

Prior to becoming Aprio’s CIO / CDO, Dan served as the company’s information systems manager and vice president of technology.

Dan serves on the board of OnBoard, which advocates to increase the number of women in executive leadership and on corporate boards in Georgia. He resides in Atlanta with his wife and three children.
