Robert Sheesley is a forward-thinking executive with experience in planning and executing business and technology transformation initiatives and implementing mission-critical solutions to drive growth and efficiency. He is a United States Marine and Operation Desert Storm Veteran.
Experience
Robert comes to FPOV from Wrench Group where he served as the company’s chief information officer for seven years. There, he was responsible for technology operations, innovation and stakeholder adoption to enable data-driven strategies, information-based decision making, and business success across over thirty plus home services brands. He helmed a six-year strategy and roadmap in pursuit of the organization’s north star that there is measurable value with differentiation through technology and to enable competitive advantage and drive organic and transactional growth. He led the design and scale of the information technology organization during the historic growth of Wrench Group from $220M to $2B in revenue and from 700 to 8,000 employees across thirty geographic markets and fifteen states, landing the company on Inc 5000’s fastest growing private companies list in 2021.
Robert is currently serving as the Fractional CIO for private companies where he is guiding their next generation technology strategy and roadmap, as well as their AI strategy. This also includes several AI-enabled solutions for internal search and agent coaching and assistance. Robert is also as a board member and interim Chief Information Officer at Bump Connect, a next generation search engine and social community and commerce platform. Built on Web 3.0 using blockchain technology, artificial intelligence, and IP Scrambling techniques to help ensure complete user privacy when browsing the internet, Bump Connect offers consumers, digital influencers and brands a new online space for collaboration and engagement.
Background
Robert was named a 2024 Global CIO 100 by HotTopics and the ETS Servant Technology Concillium’s 2024 CIO of the Year. He was also recognized as the 2023 Georgia CIO Large Corporate ORBIE award winner for organizations over $1 billion annual revenue. He was a finalist for the award the three previous years. Robert’s digital marketing team was recognized by Technology Association of Georgia as the 2022 Digital Transformation Project of The Year.
He holds an MBA, International Business degree and BS, Communication degree from Clarion University of Pennsylvania, a Chief Data and AI Officer certification from the University of Michigan, a Certified Cybersecurity Leader (CCL) designation from Carnegie Mellon University, Enterprise Architecture certifications from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Business Architecture certification from DePaul University.
