Samuel BowerCraft is an experienced consultant with a proven record in many different industries. He is skilled in management consulting including strategy and operational improvement, enterprise risk management, IT governance and operations, and business process improvement. He has provided advisory service to clients related to governance and strategy, business and IT alignment, and risk management and compliance for developing organizations. He is driven to help clients move forward to be better, more effective, and efficient.

Experience

Samuel has served as a Farm Credit Association director for 14 years. As a board director, he provides governance oversight for over $6 billion in assets. He has been designated a financial expert in support of the association and audit committee. He also served as the audit committee chairman where he was responsible for reviewing the financial reporting and managing the chief internal auditor.

Samuel spent nearly fifteen years as a senior manager at McKonly & Asbury, LLP a certified public accounting firm. There he led and oversaw management consulting work including enterprise risk, information systems and security risk assessments and strategic consulting work. He was in charge of assessing, advising, and implementing process improvements and standardization to business environments across business process areas (governance, finance, accounting, HR, & IT). Sam also performed attestation work under AICPA, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and other security framework guidelines.

Background

Samuel holds a Masters of Science, Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University. He is a member of ISACA with past certification as a Certified Information Systems Auditor. He currently resides in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania.
