PROBLEM SOLVED

FPOV’s Citizen Data Scientist Program helped TASB build data specialists within the organization. TASB offered the course to anyone of the almost 500 employees. So many people signed up,that they had to be split into two groups. Developing Citizen Data Scientists has proven to be a critical component in using data to provide industry-leading insights within TASB.

SCOPE OF SERVICES

• Planning/Configuration Session – Planning session with executive leaders to configure the program
• Session “0” – Introduction to all the session with all participants
• Session 1 thru 6 – Flipped classroom: 2-hour sessions with a video that is viewed before each session
• Graduation – Graduation session with all participants finishing the course

OUR UNIQUE APPROACH

TASB has data scientists on staff, but still benefit by having more people with data scientist skills. When business side staff and leaders possess these skills, it makes the data scientist team more effective and productive.

TIME FRAME

This engagement was completed in just over three months. The engagement started with a configuration planning session with TASB leadership followed by seven sessions occurring about every 2- to 3-weeks.
